About the coach

Astrid den Bosch –  our true visual thinking enthusiast combines it with Service Design to simplify complexity and communicate better.

Why this topic?

Besides the fact that it’s fun, our brains are wired in such a way that we remember and understand visuals way better than documents full of text. Therefore, Visual Thinking is a powerful tool which helps you to communicate your ideas more effectively.

It helps you and your colleagues to be more concrete when talking about ideas or innovations. By understanding and practising visual thinking, you will be able to benefit from this skill during your meetings or projects.

For Whom?

For everyone who wants to become more confident with visual thinking and wants to learn how to actually apply it in your day-to-day job

What will be covered in this L&L?

In this L&L we’ll dive into how you can apply Visual Thinking in your work:

  • Practice the building blocks to enable you to apply it in your daily work, such as working with basic shapes, varying line thickness, using text and adding details
  • The difference between real-time drawing (sounds scary, we know!) and non-real-time drawing and how you can approach this
  • How you can structure your story in a clear way

This L&L is suitable for everyone and does not require specific drawing skills. However, it helps if you have already followed our Visual Thinking 1.0 course!.

What will be the key learnings?

Everyone can draw! It’s just a matter of starting DOING it.
Come to this Learn & Lunch and start building the foundation blocks you need to be able to apply visual thinking in your daily job. See the steps you can take when you draw in real-time or not and the valuable tools, and how to structure your visual story clearly.
